Anastasia’s commitment to publicizing human rights abuses landed her coverage in The New York Times, speaking engagements at the National Press Club, United Nations, and a meeting with the Dalai Lama — in addition to the support of thousands of young women (21,000 followers on Facebook) who were inspired by her tenacity. After the film screening, Anastasia answered questions from the audience.
